Like the grey uni's.
The only thing putrid is the officiating, in my opinion. Gotta like Mooney's game, wow after 3 days/3 games he is still really busting it!
This is going to be a fun team to watch this year!

Thanks Cuz for the review, it's spot on!
One guy I thought showed real improvement was Shamar Jackson. Did he get injured? or did I miss out on news with him?
I agree on the WRs, there's a lot of talent there. Which leads me to the True Freshmen that were thrown into duty this year, that's a tough call, but I thought all of them showed that they can PLAY. (Kline, Baker, Ducker, Allen, Judge)
The staff has shown that they are the real deal. Even though the defense had their struggles, they showed a lot of heart, and I think, improvement, especially in "flying to the ball" as a team and creating turnovers.
I'm excited about the future of this program!

Coach Jimmy is very sharp, because that's about exactly how it went down!

Did they run out of $$ to remove the checkerboard endzones?
Seriously, haven't seen it in person, but from TV and online coverage it looks like it is quite impressive! Enjoy!

Enjoyed seeing the new Yotes team this weekend.
A couple of quick impressions: Athleticism, depth and youth.
TBM and Mooney look like they are ready to "take and make" the pressure shots. We have 2 really promising PGs. A lot of blocked shots and opponent's misses in the paint.
I know it's early, and there will be a lot of experience to gain over the long season, but so far so good in my opinion!

Let's just focus on winning the game in front of us! In this league, that is the playoffs, next Saturday's game. I know there are more "elite" teams than the Yotes in the MVFC, but there isn't a team that we can't beat. Take 'em one game at a time fellas!!

Disrespect? Huh? This was probably exactly what we all should have expected. SDSU is the clear preseason favorite, and IUPUI returns some nice pieces. USD will be right there in the mix I believe, but preseason, nah, 3rd is about right. Yeah, disrespect is a little bit of a reach, I admit. SDSU won in the NCAA, and nearly won twice, and returns the same team, I can't really argue with their pre-season position in the polls. Though, I do think we have a better than 3 in 34 chance (number 1 votes) of a 3-peat. You caught me in my "faux outrage"

The Summit League article mentions that we lose 4 starters(and Player of the Year), which I guess explains the disrespect to 2-time defending champs, and WNIT defending champs.
I don't think many of this year's starters will be lacking for playing experience, however. I think the chances for a 3-peat will be better than the poll may suggest.

Because of Streveler's athleticism, it's easy to overlook his passing abilities. Have you looked at his stats, his passer rating is plus 140; 9 TD passes. The only glaring statistic is the 3 INTs, and that only because they were all "pick 6". I think he's made some great throws and of course a few bad ones, but I can see him being a passing threat, with a little cleanup work. IMHO
And I love the potential of Simmons, I think we're fortunate at the QB position right now.

Siri, can you give me directions to the 2018 North American Manure Expo?

Welcome to Coyote Nation, Coach Plitzuweit!
We're fortunate as Coyote fans, for an admin. that keeps bringing great coaches to the University.
I know this is Coach Plitzuweit's team to build, and it will take some time for the process, but this hire gives the appearance that the winning ways, will just keep rolling. Can't wait to see it all unfold!

She could win at the Big 10 level with a Summit Team. Imagine what she could do with the advantages of actually being a big 10 team. Yes, she coached this team to victories over Illinois, Minnesota and to the WNIT Championship that included Nebraska, Iowa, Michigan, Northwestern, Rutgers (did I leave anyone out?).....I think she'll be alright in the B1G. I too am very happy for Coach Williams. She's a winner, and the Yotes WBB program is better for it, what else can you ask for? I have confidence in Herbster and the admin. to find another talent to lead the program forward.

Congratulations to the Yotes, they have been true champions in their approach all year. They deserve all the attention and praise they are receiving now.
FGCU has nothing to be ashamed of, they are a really good team, who also should have been in the NCAA. Very impressive performance on short rest and long travel.
A fan that follows from a distance, I have to say I was very proud of the fans that showed up in big numbers when it counted most. I knew when we went D1 this would be the case, it was only a matter of time!
The time is now for USD Coyotes, South Dakota's team!!
Can't wait for FB season, Mens BB and WBB going for a 3 peat in the Summit League!! Fight South Dakota
