I just saw the Univ of Mn WBB Coach Resigns. That could shake up things!!! Wow. I doubt it ends up affecting us much, other than in recruiting. Maybe there could be a transfer we are interested in? I doubt they look at AJ for the hire, if that's what you are thinking (even though they would be smart to).

Probably should bring back Stollings to rebuild again.

I have connections at the U and it sounds like there’s strong support for at least consideration of AJ. No clue how serious the consideration will be but his name is at least circulating around in conversations. Take that with a grain of salt though.

AJ is not my favorite guy in the world, but they would be stupid not to strongly consider him. He's obviously an excellent coach. Would he leave State? Hard to say but I would think this is one job that he would give serious thought to.

Probably should bring back Stollings to rebuild again. Not sure if serious... You know she was fired from TTU for abusing players, right? No way the U brings her back.

Hard to say but I would think this is one job that he would give serious thought to. I think he would take the job if offered. Surprising to me that Minnesota is considering him, but they should. I mean, he turned down Green Bay in 2007. Sixteen years ago. Back then GB was considered an elite mid-major program, and a much better job than SDSU. Now, the roles are reversed. He clearly made the right choice. Plus, Minnesota is a P-5 program in his home state. One that he already recruits heavily. He's well paid at SDSU, but not P-5 money. Minneapolis is a pretty nice place to live, if you're rich (although they have income tax). Kind-of a no-brainer, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, if you ask me. Plus he has one more opportunity to get to the sweet 16 for a 3rd time with his 2023 team. Not much more to prove for him in this league, I'd say.

I agree there would be a lot of reasons for him to consider it strongly. However, the bunny fans are supremely confident that he would never leave State because everything is unicorns and rainbows there.

If AJ ever intends to leave this is his chance to take another program to great heights. I may dislike the bunnies but I respect him for his commitment to SDSU. I know we all wish USD had a coach with that much success stick around for that long.

But the three quarters of a mil TTU paid out in a settlement makes me wonder about how abusive the abuse really was.
